thin walls constant traffic
The bar in the cellar was a nice touch. The food was really good!!!
The walls were thin. I could hear every word from the next room. The occupant used their phone on speaker, so there was no peace. The constant noise of traffic kept me awake all night.

Satisfactory Visit
friendly staff ample storage reasonable dinner warm room uncomfortable bed inaccurate photos
The staff seemed friendly. My room had plenty of storage space. The dinner I had was reasonably priced.
The room temperature was warm despite cool weather. The bed was quite uncomfortable. The photos did not fully match the room's actual condition.

Excellent Experience!
spacious room quiet atmosphere continental breakfast
I pre-booked parking. My room was spacious, and very quiet. I enjoyed the sufficient continental breakfast they provided. The hotel staff were fantastic. They even suggested I pre-book a taxi to the port.
I found a steep staircase inside. People with limited mobility should be prepared. The hotel does not have a toilet on the ground floor. They may need to go up a steep staircase or down a short flight to the bar and restaurant.
Service
9/10
The staff were attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage. They gave recommendations for local transportation. I really loved the friendly and efficient service they offered, it was awesome.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast room was bright and inviting. I enjoyed the high-quality breakfast with a good selection. The restaurant provided a fabulous meal. Everything was good, and the food was very tasty.

a mediocre stay
damp smell worn furniture
I found a few things less than stellar. the room smelled strongly of damp. this was quite off-putting, but the worn furniture also detracted from the experience. i hoped for better given the price. A little maintenance would improve the stay significantly.

spacious room clean room vegan meal gluten free meal
the room was spacious and clean. a fan was available in the room and the windows opened fully (a real plus). the bathroom had a good shower over the bath. i was able to get a vegan gluten free meal from the bar ordering close to last orders.
i noticed some slight wear and tear in the car parking area, which could use some attention.
